Meet the Dallas Team Behind Tilehurst Roofing Dallas

Tilehurst Roofing Dallas is part of the Kingswell family of roofing companies, founded in 2000. But a name on a truck doesn’t fix a roof. People do. The crew that shows up at your door in Dallas is local, background-checked, uniformed, and answers to Greg Holloway, the owner. We’ve built this team slowly and deliberately, because the Kingswell Way isn’t a training video. It’s how we work: say the price before the work, show up in the window we gave, leave the place cleaner than we found it, put the guarantee in writing, and come back if it fails. Our People

Marcus T., Lead Technician

Marcus has been on Dallas roofs for 17 years, the last six as our lead technician. He holds certifications with GAF and CertainTeed, which means he can install their systems to the manufacturer’s spec, not just close enough. His specialty is leak forensics: tracing water intrusion back to flashing, pipe boots, or valley issues that three other people walked right past. Marcus keeps a small notebook in the truck where he logs every repair with the date, the fix, and the guarantee number. He says it’s faster than an app and harder to lose. Most of his weekends are spent coaching youth baseball in Oak Cliff.

Elena S., Senior Installer

Elena joined Tilehurst Dallas five years ago after running her own two-person roofing crew in Fort Worth. She’s our senior installer and the person we put on complex re-decks, steep pitches, and any job where the decking is questionable and needs honest replacement framing. Elena is Owens Corning and IKO trained, and she’s the crew member who catches details: drip edge tightened at the corners, ridge cap aligned so it doesn’t wave, underlayment lapped the right direction. She grew up in Garland and knows what North Texas hail can do to a roof. On her days off, she restores a 1968 Mustang and does not want help with it.

Devon R., Service Coordinator

Devon is the voice you’ll likely hear when you call (903) 499-4275. He’s our service coordinator, and his job is simple on paper: answer the phone, schedule the visit, make sure the written price is in your hands before any work starts. In practice, he’s the person who keeps the calendar honest. If we say we’ll be there between 9 and 11, Devon built that window with enough cushion to make it true. He’s been with the Kingswell network since 2018 and moved to the Dallas location when it opened. Devon knows the manufacturers’ warranties by heart and can walk you through the differences between GAF, CertainTeed, Owens Corning, IKO, Atlas, Tamko, and Boral without making you feel rushed. He’s also the reason the office coffee is strong enough to strip paint.

Priya K., Apprentice

Priya is the newest member of the crew, two years into her apprenticeship with Marcus and Elena. She came to us from a general construction background and chose roofing because she wanted a trade with clear standards and real consequences when you get it wrong. Priya handles tear-off support, underlayment runs, starter strip, and job-site cleanup, and she’s working toward her first manufacturer certification this year. She grew up in Plano and has a habit of taking photos of the roof before, during, and after every project, which has saved more than one client discussion. Her dog, a rescue mutt named Shingle, has never been on a roof and never will be.
